My biggest weight loss secret (it just might surprise you!)

I’ve been a dedicated gym-goer for around 15 years now. I’ve tried everything from gym classes, circuits, weight training, personal training, Pilates, boxing, yoga…Name it, I’ve done it! And that the reason I decided to share My biggest weight loss secret.

I’ve loved exercising and I’ve loathed exercise, but one thing that has been consistent is that I’ve always done it.

Over the years of trying different styles of exercise, I have found things that have worked. But with that, I also tried things that haven’t worked. My life has changed and evolved through having children. I’ve worked full-time, part-time, growing older and trying new things at the same time. I have really noticed changes to my body, my energy levels, and my weight.

I am not overweight. But I certainly put on weight as a 20-year-old traveling the world. And again a little later in life after having children.

The more in tune I am becoming with my body, the better the results I am getting. Instead of training hard, restricting calories, and beating myself up for indulging in life, I am exercising in ways that make me feel good. I eat when I’m hungry and I have increased my healthy fat intake. I’m managing stress and ensuring that I get really good quality sleep every single night.

What’s working for me right now may not have worked for me 12 months ago. It may also not continue to work for me in 6 months’ time. But right now I feel healthier, slimmer and happier than I ever have.
